Terms and Conditions
1. Service Overview

Byte Buddies offers a managed website solution using pre-loaded Wix templates to deliver quick, professional, and easy-to-maintain websites.

Our services include basic customization, content setup, and integration of essential tools such as invoicing, quotation forms, booking systems, and basic SEO optimization.

We do not offer custom website development. All websites are built using existing Wix templates with minimal design changes to save time and reduce costs.
2. Hosting and Ownership

All websites are hosted on the Wix platform under Byte Buddies’ partner account.

The website remains fully owned and managed by Byte Buddies during the subscription period.

Customers will be granted collaborator access via Wix to manage content and use features such as bookings, quotes, or blog updates.

Developer access or full admin rights are not provided while the website is under our managed plan, as part of our service.
3. Cancellation and Transfer of Ownership

Customers may cancel their website subscription at any time by providing written notice.

Upon cancellation, Byte Buddies will transfer full ownership of the Wix website to the customer within 2 business days.

Once ownership is transferred, the customer is responsible for paying for Wix hosting directly and managing all aspects of the website independently.

Byte Buddies will no longer manage or provide support unless the customer re-subscribes to our monthly plan.
4. Inclusions
The $89 per month (inc. GST) website subscription includes:

Basic customization (logo, colours, text, images)

Free domain registration for 12 months (for new customers)

Hosting via Wix platform

Mobile-friendly design

Local SEO optimization (Google-friendly setup)

Booking tools, quotation templates, invoicing setup

5. Turnaround Time

Website builds will commence once all required content and information are provided by the client (including business logo, service details, contact info, etc.).

Standard turnaround time is 10-15 business days, subject to timely provision of content and communication from the client.
6. Design Change Policy

The initial website design and build is included in the monthly subscription fee.

Any additional design requests beyond the original scope (such as major layout changes, new page structures, or rebranding) will be quoted as a separate fee-for-service, depending on the nature of the work requested.
7. Limitation of Liability

Byte Buddies is not liable for any business losses, including but not limited to loss of income, data, or reputation resulting from downtime, third-party service interruptions, or customer misuse.

Customers are responsible for managing their own login credentials and collaborator access.
8. Modifications to the Service

Byte Buddies reserves the right to update these terms and make changes to the service structure with notice.

We will communicate any major updates to current subscribers via email or through our support portal.
